Tennessee Needs Us—And We Need You!
AMAC was founded in 2012 with one mission: to defend and amplify the voices of Muslims across Tennessee. Today, as policies threaten to undo our civil rights, target immigrants, and strip support from organizations like ours, we are stepping up—from East to West to Middle Tennessee.
Our statewide team works on the front lines:
- Meeting lawmakers to hold them accountable and advocate for our communities.
- Fighting back against new attacks at federal and state levels through coalition building with allies.
- Organizing events like Muslim Day on the Hill.
- Host Courageous Conversations that unite Muslim, Jewish, and Christian voices.
- Produce candidate forums that amplify the issues our communities face.
- Support programs like health fairs, back-to-school events, and refugee support networks that uplift families statewide.
- Train future leaders through the Youth Leadership Program
- Provide space for women to become active members of the community through our Empowering Women Conference
Every day, we connect communities, create solutions, and build partnerships inside and outside the Muslim community. But this work needs your support.
